Leonard’s Oak World is a family run and owned business. Dad and Mom Leonard started the business in the sixties and are both semi-retired now. Since then there have been many changes, including location and management. The one thing that has not changed is the same motto, “Reasonably Priced Quality Merchandise and Excellent Customer Service”.

    Two Leonard “kids” are involved in the daily running of the business, and we all wear many hats and do various jobs.

    Doug, our only brother, is a whiz at woodworking and furniture repairs. He is also the contact and buyer of all our Amish made furniture. He makes several trips a month to Amish Country and brings back a lot of beautiful furniture.

    Susie, the youngest sister, does the majority of the furniture and giftware buying, pricing and dispatches all the trucks for furniture delivery and pick-ups.

She also buys and maintains our large Yankee Candle inventory and is in charge of this catalog.

    Dee, Doug’s wife, takes care of our computer system and is back-up bookkeeper when Mom is in Florida. She is also the buyer of our beautiful Heritage Lace and takes care of our direct mailing, and all advertising.

    Jeff, Susie’s husband, is in charge of the warehouses and both he (and Doug) are the “Jack-Of-All-Trades” in the business. Jeff also picks up our Ohio Oak Furniture and keeps our delivery vehicles in top shape. He also makes sure the furniture in the warehouse is ready to be delivered.

    Our delivery men are the “Best in Town”! They personally take pride in bringing your furniture to you in a very careful way. They are both extremely friendly and are well liked by our customers.

    Our salesgirls are not only friendly, but very knowledgeable about our products. They are very interested in helping you with your buying needs, and will go our of their way to accommodate you.

    As we said, since we are a family run business, we all wear many hats and do various jobs. No job is too small or large for us to try and take care of. Don’t be surprised to see girls loading furniture and the guys helping with the customers.

    In making sure that our store is not only well stocked, clean and friendly, we strive to make your shopping experience pleasurable. We always have a free cup of coffee for you. Stop in and browse!!
